4th Grade Math Winter Break Packet: 10 Days
If you need a winter break math packet 4th grade families can print at home, this one is a single PDF: ten days, one sheet a day, ten to fifteen minutes, checked off on a tracker. It reviews the fall's multi-digit multiplication and long division, with a family note and answer keys in the same file.

How the 4th grade packet works
What 4th graders review over winter break
The packet reviews the fall's multi-digit multiplication and long division. Everything in it is 4th grade first-semester review, and nothing is new, so no adult has to teach anything over the break.
- Multi-digit multiplication
- Long division
Each grade in the winter line reviews its own first semester. The 3rd grade packet stays on multiplication and division facts, place value and rounding. The 4th grade packet moves to multi-digit multiplication and long division. The 5th grade packet reviews multi-digit multiplication, long division, fractions, and place value. In a combined 4th and 5th class, send each student the packet for the grade they are working in.
The ten days
The packet holds ten daily sheets, Day 1 through Day 10, each one front and back and about ten to fifteen minutes. Ten days is roughly the length of winter break, so the packet is sized to be finished before school starts again. A tracker page has a box for each day, and an optional Challenge Day at the end gives a student who finishes Day 10 one harder sheet.
When the class comes back, collect the trackers and the finished sheets. With only two skills in the packet, the sheets show quickly whether multi-digit multiplication or long division needs a short reteach before the new unit starts.
Printable PDF with answer keys
The 4th grade math winter break packet PDF is a single printable file, 33 pages, so it goes home as one stapled packet. It opens with a one-page Note for Families and a page that puts each skill in parent language, and the answer keys are in the back, numbered by page. Print one copy per student and send it home on the last day before break.

The 3rd-5th bundle
If your team sends home more than one grade, or you teach a combined class, the 3rd-5th winter break bundle holds the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade packets in one file: 98 pages for $14.95. The three packets bought separately come to $20.85. Each grade gets its own ten days of its own first-semester review, with the same family note, tracker and answer keys, so the whole upper hallway goes home with the same routine.
Before and after the break
The Thanksgiving break math packets use a family note, a tracker and one short sheet a day, over five days. After the break, weekly homework carries a one-sheet habit across the rest of the year.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a 4th grade winter break packet PDF?
Yes. The 4th grade winter break math packet is one printable PDF, 33 pages: the family note, the parent-language skills page, the tracker, ten daily sheets, the optional Challenge Day, and the answer keys, all in the same file. Print it at school and send it home, or print it on a home printer.
How long does each day take?
About ten to fifteen minutes. Each day is one sheet, front and back, so a 4th grader can finish it before lunch and still have the rest of the day off.
Does anyone at home have to teach the math?
No. Every page is first-semester review, so nothing inside is new. The family note explains the routine, the skills page puts each topic in parent language, and the answer keys are numbered by page, so any adult can check a day in a minute.
Is it worth buying the 3rd-5th bundle instead?
If more than one grade on your team sends a packet home, yes. The single 4th grade packet is $6.95. The bundle holds the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade packets for $14.95, where the three singles would come to $20.85.
